Job summary

Andalusia Health in Andalusia, AL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in daily patient care. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and help ensure patient comfort and safety on a busy hospital unit.

Under supervision of a licensed nurse, you will document care activities, maintain clean environments, and respond promptly to patient needs. Certification required; hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required (preferred).
• CNA certification required upon hire; BCLS/CPR as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, hygiene, mobility, and basic clinical tasks under RN supervision.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output accurately.
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharge activities; respond to call lights and RN/LPN directions.
• Maintain patient rooms, cleanliness, and environmental safety; assist with feeding and dietary tasks.
