Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform activities of daily living and selected treatments according to policies and physician orders.

You will document treatments and observations, maintain a clean and safe unit, and support the care team to deliver compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• PCT: MMH PCT/CNA/EMT/LPN Certification or state-recognized CNA/EMT/LPN licensure.
• BLS: Basic Life Support
• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Equivalent Experience: Within 1 month of hire

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the nurse, prioritize and organize care and perform basic nurse's aide tasks.
• Document treatments and observations; provide report to the team on tasks completed.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly unit.
