Job summary
Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide support to patients, nursing units, and professional staff. Work hours are 7a-7p with a three-day work week and alternating weekends, in a fast-paced, technically focused environment.
The role emphasizes clear communication, teamwork, accountability, and proactive service improvements to enhance patient care. Various educational and experiential pathways are recognized, including PCT/NA/MA programs and BLS
Qualifications
- Graduate from a certified PCT/NA/MA program or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing assistant experience in a healthcare facility.
- Nursing student who completed the first semester of the nursing program.
- Military medic/corpsman experience acceptable.
- EMT Certification/Paramedic License considered.
- BLS required by American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
