Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our collaborative nursing team. You will assist RNs with hands-on care, vital signs, mobility, and daily living activities, in a patient-centered environment that prioritizes safety and dignity.

You will help with preparation, transfers, dressing changes, skin protection, and ensuring clean, stocked patient areas. A supportive team and opportunities for growth are available in this role.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
