Job summary

West Boca Medical Center is seeking a patient care support team member for full-time night shifts. You will assist professional nursing staff with basic adult patient care, including vital signs, hygiene, and monitoring, while documenting accurately in the electronic health record.

The position also supports unit operations as a secretary and handles supply procurement under the Charge Nurse direction. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR, and preferred experience in

Qualifications

• CPR certification required (AHA)
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred
• CNA course completion preferred
• Nursing program enrollment with a clinical class preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide basic adult patient care including vital signs, hygiene and monitoring.
• Record intake, output and temperatures; report abnormalities promptly.
• Document care delivered in the electronic health record accurately and timely.
• Serve as unit secretary as needed and assist with supply procurement and storage.
• Enter orders/tests accurately in the electronic health record.
