Job summary

Driscoll Health Plan is seeking a Nurse Aide support role to provide clerical, equipment and patient care assistance on patient care units. The role requires confidentiality, adherence to policies, and ethical conduct.

The candidate will perform EMR data entry, supply management, and assist with infection control and patient care tasks. Training and certification requirements must be maintained, including CPR/BLS and NCI or DHS-equivalent coursework within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Nurse Aide School.
• Nurse Aide Certification is required.
• CPR/BLS must be continuously maintained.
• NCI or DHS-equivalent training within 6 months of hire and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical, equipment and patient care support to patient care units.
• Respond to communications devices and enter basic data into EMR.
• Stock supplies, check expirations, order supplies and manage equipment.
• Transport infectious materials and assist with infection control duties.
• Assist with patient care tasks and transport patients for tests and procedures.
