Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Flowood, MS is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Tech to support our physicians and clinical staff by providing excellent patient care and assisting with daily clinic operations.

The Medical Assistant role involves collecting patient information, vital signs, and medical history; maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment; and performing clerical duties to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of related patient care experience preferred.
• Strong computer and typing skills preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and clinical staff with direct patient care.
• Collect and document patient information, vital signs, and medical history.
• Perform clerical duties, including scheduling, answering phones, and maintaining patient records.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
