Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a Patient Care Partner to join our healthcare team and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assist with ADLs, monitor patients, and support RN/LPN staff to ensure a safe, healing environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities include observing patients, aiding with mobility, and contributing to daily care tasks while maintaining excellent communication with the care team and ensuring high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Able to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Basic computer and telephone proficiency.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with moving patients over 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) under RN/LPN supervision.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
• Perform clinical support tasks and assist with patient safety.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and ambulation.
• Transports patients and equipment as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe patient rooms and orderly environment.
• Participate in patient rounding and service improvement activities.
