Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as Nursing Attendant in an acute hospital or similar setting.
• Current enrollment in an approved RN or LVN program may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• Per the National Agreement, current KP Coalition employees have this experience requirement waived.

Responsibilities

• Upholds Kaiser Permanente's policies, procedures, and laws.
• Demonstrates a professional, supportive attitude and openness to new ideas.
• Communicates effectively within the chain of command and escalates issues as needed.
• Prioritizes tasks to complete patient care activities and notifies the RN if unable to complete.
• Transports patients, equipment, and supplies using proper body mechanics.
• Utilizes computer systems for documentation and data collection to inform care plans.
