Job summary

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, performs a variety of patient care functions as assigned and in accordance with the scope of competency and established standards at Kaiser Permanente. The role supports delivery of safe, quality care on a hospital unit in California, with emphasis on effective communication, documentation, and teamwork within the health care team.

A Nursing Assistant certification or active enrollment in RN/LVN program is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a Nursing Attendant in an acute hospital or similar setting.
• State Certification as a Nursing Assistant or current enrollment in RN/LVN program.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
