Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification or Basic EMT Certification, Military Medic experience, or RN nursing student with completion of fundamental nursing clinical.
• Experience providing personal care assistance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, feeding, hygiene, and mobility assistance.
• Report changes in patient condition to primary nurse promptly and accurately.
• Assist with non-invasive monitoring equipment usage and removal.
• Answer call lights and assist in admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Collect and transport specimens and retrieve medications per policy.
• Document patient care, vital signs, intake/output, and support the nurse's plan of care.
• Perform clerical duties: greet visitors, manage supplies, answer phones, and assist with charge capture.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures, including waste removal and equipment maintenance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
