Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Clinical Assistant, Medical Assistant or EMT Training Program or nursing student who completed Fundamentals of Nursing course (preferred).
• Basic Life Support certification (required).
• Preferred: CNA, CMA or EMT certification; active license or enrollment in nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe and communicate physician orders and messages accurately.
• Assemble and organize patient records and charts.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges and provide patient care support under RN supervision.
