Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will help deliver safe, patient-centered care while maintaining a clean and orderly environment and promoting family satisfaction.

The role requires teamwork, willingness to learn hospital computer systems, and knowledge of basic medical terminology. BLS certification is required, and CPI training is needed within 90 days for psychiatric units.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and communicate professionally with healthcare team.
• Learn and apply hospital computer technologies and procedures affecting patient care.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and standard precautions; ability to read/write in English.
