Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks and equipment inventory per unit standards.
• Demonstrates computer skills for unit/department responsibilities; may schedule patients and handle phone calls.
• Documents patient information accurately and timely; reports unusual situations to the RN or Nurse Manager.
• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge procedures; provides patient comfort and assistance with daily living activities.
• Uses proper body mechanics to assist with mobility and positioning; maintains a safe, clean patient environment.
• Responds promptly to requests; prioritizes tasks and maintains patient confidentiality.
