• 6 months - 1 year related experience
• BLS Certification
• Unit specific competencies obtained within six months of hire or transfer date

Responsibilities

• Provides designated and specified patient care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse
• Records graphics, intake and output, and ADL's in the computer and flow sheet accurately
• Promotes a safe environment for patients and others
• Adheres to approved patient care standards based on nursing skills
• Communicates effectively with patients and families
• Utilizes equipment safely and assists in cleaning and sanitation of equipment and supplies
