Job summary

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas is seeking an Unlicensed Nursing Assistant for the 3T Telemetry unit on a per diem / flex basis, 7P shift in Beaumont, TX. You will perform patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse and support the care team.

Qualifications

• 6 months - 1 year related experience
• BLS Certification
• Unit specific competencies obtained within six months of hire or transfer date

Responsibilities

• Provides designated and specified patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse
• Records graphics, intake and output, and ADLs in the computer and flow sheet
• Maintains safe environment for patients and others
• Communicates effectively with patients and their families
• Uses unit equipment safely and assists in cleaning and sanitation of equipment and supplies
