Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under RN supervision. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining safety and a clean environment, and collaborating with the care team.

Required 18+ years old with a high school diploma/GED preferred. BLS orientation is provided with successful completion before patient care. Schedule includes 12-hour nights and a 60-hour pay period.

• Demonstrates ability to communicate, collaborate and manage relationships with interdisciplinary members while maintaining patient/family centeredness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Nursing Assistant assists patients with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Performs activities within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment and supports nursing practice.
