Job summary

Temple Health is recruiting for a patient care role that supports nursing staff with direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role includes carrying out plan-of-care components addressing physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, ensuring comfort, safety, and emergency readiness.

Responsibilities include measuring vitals, performing ECGs, and monitoring capillary glucose.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Program or completion of at least one clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.
• Implements components of the plan of care based on physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
• Provides comfort, safety and emergency measures; assists with activities of daily living.
• Measures vital signs, performs ECGs, and capillary blood glucose checks.
• Observes and reports changes in patient condition and condition of equipment.
