Job summary

Invoti L.L.C. is seeking a patient care assistant to provide basic nursing care and support, including vital signs, hygiene, ambulation, and transfers.

You will document patient location, status, and activities, and escort patients as needed within the hospital. You will assist in keeping patient common areas clean, identify safety hazards, communicate changes in patient conditions, and ensure compliance with infection prevention and control policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and support (VS, hygiene, ambulation, transfers)
• Documentation of patient location, status, activities
• Escort patients as needed within and occasionally outside the hospital
• Assist in keeping patient common areas clean
• Contributes to patient/staff safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations
• Initiates corrective action as appropriate
• Contributes to continuity of care by effectively communicating changes in patients’ conditions
• Complies with FSH infection prevention and control policies and procedures
• Demonstrates procedural competencies for assigned tasks
• Complies with all FSH/DMH policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
