Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required at hire.
• CPR certification within 14 days of hire.
• Compassionate with patients who may be emotional or in pain.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety for patients at risk for self-harm, falls, or to keep tubes and lines intact.
• Protects the patient's dignity at all times.
• Contacts nursing staff immediately of any concern regarding the patient's condition.
• Ensures coverage of duties during relief periods (breaks/lunch).
• Provides comfort measures (blanket, pillow, positioning) and assists with meals.
