ECMCC in Buffalo, NY seeks a Non-Licensed Clinical Staff member to perform semi-skilled patient care tasks under supervision. Responsibilities include vital signs, hygiene, feeding support, and basic treatments, with a focus on safety and infection control.

Position is full-time and on-site. BLS certification is required within 60 days of appointment and maintained, with possible additional requirements for Radiology or Behavioral Health inpatient assignments.

Qualifications

• There are no education or experience requirements.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 60 days of appointment and maintained throughout tenure.
• If assigned to Radiology, knowledge of NY SDOH 10 NYCRR Part 16 radiation safety is required.
• For Behavioral Health inpatient setting, BEWD safety program completion within 3 months is required.

Responsabilités

• Assists with patient care and activities such as taking vital signs, height and weight, monitoring inputs/outputs.
• Provides for patients' personal hygiene including bathing, oral care, shaving and elimination.
• Transports patients and prepares them for examinations; assists with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and adheres to infection control measures.
