Job summary

The Mental Health Association of Columbia-Greene Counties Inc. is seeking a dedicated Transportation Driver to join our team. The transportation driver safely operates agency vehicles to transport clients to various MHACG sites.

They ensure passenger safety, assisting with getting in and out of vehicle as needed. Drivers must ensure and maintain agency vehicles are in good operating order and maintain cleanliness. POSITION TYPE:Part Time-10-15 hours per week PAY RATE:$16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid NYS driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and internet programs.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
• Regular and steady attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide passenger assistance and curb-to-curb service.
• Transport clients safely following traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Complete daily trip logs, mileage reports, and inspections.
• Interact professionally with supervisor, fleet manager, and passengers.
• Monitor vehicle fuel, fluids, cleanliness, and schedule maintenance.
