Job summary

Onyx Health Consulting seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time role in Florida. Shift is 7a-3p with every other weekend, supporting patients with daily living activities and basic care.

You will monitor vital signs, document medications, and assist with mobility while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Previous long-term or acute care experience is preferred; AHCA Level 2 background screening is required by state rules.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication with patients and staff.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist in mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, heart rate).
• Administer medications and document in patient chart.
• Keep patient rooms clean and tidy.
• Assist mobility with walkers/wheelchairs and positioning.
• Record care provided to patients accurately and timely.
• Report changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.
• Respond to patient calls in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
