Job summary

HealthFleet Ambulance, Inc. is seeking a Paratransit Driver to transport wheelchair and ambulatory patients. You will follow all state, local, and company policies, ensure safe driving, and adhere to dress code and professional standards.

You will maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform daily inspections, operate hydraulic wheelchair lifts and GPS navigation, document patient care, and be ready to work overtime as needed. The role requires a high school education and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Current, valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of safe lifting and moving techniques.
• Experience with wheelchair lift operation and securing patients.
• Willing to complete probationary program.

Responsibilities

• Transport wheelchair and ambulatory patients safely.
• Follow state, local, and company policies for procedures.
• Maintain professional image when interacting with patients.
• Inspect vehicles and report any damage or maintenance needs.
• Refuel, clean, and prepare vehicle for next trip.
• Complete patient care documentation using company forms.
• Communicate using company systems and navigate service areas.
• Work overtime as required.
