Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Transporter for the PACU to support patient and clinical material transport across care areas. You will help with patient flow, room readiness, and operations to promote efficient clinic operations and high-quality care.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 6 months healthcare experience, and BLS on hire, with AHA recertification within 30 days for non-AHA certificants. You will be part of a team committed to patient safety and excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of prior healthcare experience requested.
• BLS certification required on hire; maintained in position; candidates with non-AHA certification must obtain AHA certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and clinical materials between locations.
• Safely move patients between clinic locations while ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Transport specimens, supplies, and equipment promptly per policies.
• Assist with patient flow, room readiness, and operational support.
• Demonstrate professionalism, communication, and patient safety.
