Job summary

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, preparing patients for procedures, and documenting care in the EMR system. The role requires a valid nursing license in Louisiana and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Valid license to practice professional nursing in Louisiana (RN/LPN).
• American Heart Association, Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient care under supervision with the healthcare team.
• Measures and records vital signs as per policy and patient age.
• Identifies abnormal values and reports to the medical provider.
• Assists in clinic flow, scheduling, and patient exit processes.
• Prepares patients for examinations and procedures.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and EMR documentation.
