• Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team in West Chester, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals at an outpatient level, diagnosed with a mental health disorder. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide individual and group sessions, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients with mental health diagnoses.
• Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, peer specialists, and other staff members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Stay current on best practices and evidence-based practices to improve quality of care to clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Candidates seeking licensure as an LPC or LCSW encouraged to apply. LPC supervision provided for individual's seeking licensure in Pennsylvania.
• At least one year experience required. Practicum and internship counts as experience if in a mental health outpatient setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
