Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking an Occupational Therapist PRN to join our patient-centered team. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized therapy plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to promote independence and quality of life.

As part of an interdisciplinary care team, you will document progress, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients’ functional abilities and developing therapy plans in coordination with physicians and care team
• Delivering evidence-based interventions that promote healing, independence, and quality of life
• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting plans as needed, and documenting outcomes
• Educating patients and families to build understanding, confidence, and engagement throughout recovery
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care
• Leading by example and guiding therapy assistants or students while upholding our mission
