Job summary

BAART Programs, a BayMark Health Services outpatient clinic, is seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to help patients navigate med-assisted treatment and coping strategies for opioid use disorder.

The role includes individual and group counseling, collaboration with doctors and nurses, and diligent record-keeping to meet regulatory and accreditation standards; growth opportunities exist within our counselor career path.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the State of Nebraska for substance abuse counseling.
• Provisional licensed addiction counselor (PLADC) or licensed addiction counselor (LADC).
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provides counseling and case management services to patients in a substance abuse treatment program.
• Keeps accurate records to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
• Acts as patients' liaison with entire program.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor
