Job summary

Mercy Coletta Cancer Center in Oklahoma City seeks a dedicated nurse to provide professional nursing care in support of physicians. You will assist in treatment, complete related paperwork, and uphold Mercy’s philosophy of compassionate care.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR certification, and the ability to communicate clearly with patients, families and staff in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of the principles and skills needed for nursing, care, examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures.
• Licensure: Current valid state license.
• Certifications: CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice in support of, and as directed by, the physicians.
• Assists the physician in the treatment of patients and completes related clinical paperwork.
• Shall carry out responsibilities consistent with Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick, with respect for human life and dignity.
• Communicates with patients, families, visitors and employees in a caring, friendly, professional manner.
