Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma City seeks a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care, following the nursing process and Mercy Service Standards. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure patient rights, and maintain confidentiality while upholding our mission and values.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure, CPR certification, and strong communication skills to educate patients and support care delivery across departments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of principles and skills for nursing, care, examination, diagnostic and treatment procedures.
• CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in line with Mercy mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.
