Job summary

American Oncology Management Company is seeking a patient financial navigator to serve as the primary point of contact for financial counseling and insurance verification in a oncology practice. You will review coverage, estimate patient financial responsibility, and coordinate prior authorizations and benefit verification to ensure access to treatment with compassionate support.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and assist with pre-certification and prior authorizations.
• Provide patient financial counseling and assist with payment plans and financial aid applications.
• Coordinate with clinical teams, insurers, and assistance organizations to remove barriers to care.
• Communicate clearly with patients about insurance benefits and financial responsibility.
• Maintain patient financial records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
