Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality inpatients rehabilitation services. You will provide direct patient care, assess needs, and design individualized care plans that promote independence and improved quality of life.

You will work within a collaborative team, supervise care and treatments, and support patients’ physical, emotional, and mental recovery, celebrating progress along the way.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification is required.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient field experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
