Job summary

Palm Garden in Florida is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to help residents regain independence through personalized care plans and adaptive strategies in daily living activities.

You will assess new residents, develop and update therapy plans, and document progress in the medical record while collaborating with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active and Clear OT license in the State of Florida.
• A caring attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Skilled nursing or rehab experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess new residents and develop care plan. Update therapy plans based on their recovery, safety needs and goals.
• Work with residents on daily living skills like dressing, bathing, grooming and eating so they can be as independent as possible.
• Document progress, challenges, and improvements in the medical record and communicate updates to the clinical team.
