Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist to provide skilled home-health and inpatient therapy within the Duke HomeCare & Hospice network in Durham, NC. You will work with patients, families, and physicians to design and implement individualized care plans in the home or hospice setting.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, discharge planning, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's degree preferred.
• Current Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update care plans in collaboration with the patient and family.
• Perform age-appropriate evaluations and select treatment techniques.
• Discharge planning and follow-up arrangements.
• Educate patients and caregivers about treatments.
• Collaborate with the health care team and supervise students.
