Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dothan is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver direct patient care, assess needs, and develop personalized treatment plans that promote independence and better quality of life.

You will collaborate with a compassionate team, supervise care and treatments, and celebrate patient victories while pursuing continuing education in a supportive, inclusive environment with a strong community focus.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
