Qualifications

• No educational requirement at hire.
• CNA preferred; if no CNA, must be registered as Nurse Assistant within three months of employment.
• BLS certification required within three months after hire.
• Current BCLS certification or ability to become certified within one month.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene care to patients.
• Assist with nutritional needs of patients.
• Provide comfort care and other assistance as needed.
• Transfer patients safely and appropriately.
• Take vital signs and complete recordkeeping.
• Recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition to the RN.
