Job summary

Dolly Parton Children's Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and to perform unit receptionist duties.

This role supports the nursing team, maintains patient dignity, and ensures efficient clerical operations on the assigned unit during the shift.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, BLS within 90 days, and preferably Nursing Assistant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire and maintained.
• Nursing Assistant experience or 6 months of training/experience preferred.
• NAHUC certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of licensed personnel.
• Serves as receptionist/secretary on the nursing unit.
