Job summary

Saint Cloud VA Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct personal care to residents, assist with daily living activities, and support licensed nursing staff within the Saint Cloud Community Living Center in Saint Cloud, MN.

Qualifications

• Basic English language proficiency required.
• United States citizenship requirement for federal positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and devices.
• Support residents with nutritional needs by serving meals, helping with feeding, and monitoring intake.
• Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, SpO2).
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to licensed staff promptly.
• Maintain skin integrity and manage elimination needs, including toileting and incontinence care.
