Job summary
Kettering Health in Centerville, OH is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our interdisciplinary patient care team. You will support patients with activities of daily living and carry out patient care tasks as delegated by the licensed nurse, within the Ohio Board of Nursing Scope of Practice.
You will maintain knowledge and skills for delegated tasks, support department operations, and report to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Qualifications
- KH Nursing Assistant orientation completed.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- One of: six months as a nursing assistant, recent Nursing Assistant course, nursing student/pre-nursing, or KH employee.
Responsibilities
- Be a member of an interdisciplinary patient care team.
- Support patients with activities of daily living and perform delegated care tasks.
- Maintain knowledge and skill for delegated tasks within Ohio Nursing Scope.
- Support department operations and other duties as assigned.
- Report to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
