Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under RN supervision, addressing needs of patients from infant to elderly and accommodating challenges such as hearing, language barriers, and patient comfort.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, MA CNA license or enrollment, knowledge of medical terminology, and strong English communication. The position is part-time with 24 hours, days, every other weekend, benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with staff and patients is required.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple requests to ensure timeliness and provide exceptional patient care.
• Must possess the skills to be compassionate, empathetic and responsive to the needs of a variety of patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse assigned.
• Address the personal needs and comforts of patients from infant to elderly.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
