Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant program preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• High school level of knowledge.

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Assistant provides compassionate patient care under the supervision of a registered or licensed nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living, ambulation, turning patients, and comfort.
• Document on medical records and patient care forms.
• Communicate information to supervisor and co-workers.
• Familiar with equipment used to move patients and take vital signs.
