Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a nursing assistant for the North Greenville Long-Term Acute Care Hospital. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, collect specimens, and document in the EMR while maintaining a clean, safe patient environment.

The role requires completing a nursing assistant program (preferred) and offers night shift hours to support patient care around the clock with compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing assistant program preferred.
• No previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and hygiene; turn and reposition patients.
• Assist with admission of patients to the unit and orient patients/families.
• Take and record vital signs accurately.
• Prepare patients for meals and assist with feeding.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens and deliver to the appropriate department.
• Complete documentation in EMR in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of hospital rooms and related areas.
• Perform point of care testing as trained and report lab values to RN.
