Job summary

Saint Luke's Nursing Assistant role supports direct and indirect patient care under a Registered Nurse. You will assist with bathing, hygiene, toileting, feeding, hydration, mobility and positioning to promote comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include regular patient rounds, effective communication with the care team, and contributing to patient satisfaction through attentive, compassionate care on the unit.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• MO Nurse Aide certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing and hygiene to support comfort and dignity.
• Assist with elimination, toileting, nutrition, feeding and hydration.
• Assist with ambulation and positioning to promote safety.
• Perform regular patient rounds and monitor patient status.
• Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure coordinated care.
