Apploi in Austin, TX seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide basic resident care under licensed nurse supervision. You will help residents with daily living activities, take and document temperatures, pulses, respirations, and blood pressure, assist with mobility, meals, and hydration, and maintain clean, orderly rooms.

You will report changes to the charge nurse, protect resident privacy, follow safety policies, assist with ROM exercises, and support care plans.

Responsabilidades

• Provides basic nursing care to residents under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.
• Assists with lifting, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Accurately measures and records temperatures, pulses, respirations, and blood pressures per protocol.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident units and treatment/supply rooms.
• Advises charge nurse of resident condition changes at shift start and end.
• Provides hydration and assists with meals and snacks.
• Ensures resident privacy and confidentiality of health information.
• Reports all allegations of resident abuse, neglect and/or misappropriation of resident property.
• Performs range of motion exercises as directed.
• Assists with positioning for meals and assistance with feeding as indicated.
• Delivers and documents snacks and supplements across shifts.
• Follows policy and nurse supervisor instructions; adheres to safety procedures.
