Qualifications

• Six months of general experience or education above high school with NA-related courses.
• Intensive, occupation-related training meeting NA requirements.
• GS-4 requires 1 year of specialized NA or related healthcare experience.
• GS-5 requires 1 year of progressively responsible assignments at GS-4 level.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under close supervision and refer questions to supervisors or higher graded staff.
• Assist in nursing care planning and execution as part of the care team.
• Assist with outpatient, home, or community living care as described by the assignment.
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions to the supervising nurse.
