Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, IN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN/Per Diem roles with 12-hour shifts (days & nights). Compensation starts at $20.00/hr with night and weekend differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products and providing oral hygiene and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist transporters with stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
