Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina is seeking a Nurse Aide I to join the unit. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, daily hygiene, vital signs, and basic clinical tasks.

The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a pay range of $19.80 to $29.70 per hour and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include patient mobility, safety instruction, clerical support, and basic ECG/venipuncture duties after appropriate training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required for new hires on or after 7/22/2018.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
• BLS certification is required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists patients/residents with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and height and weight measurements.
• Feeds and ambulates patients/residents per procedures.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Reports changes in patient conditions to the team.
• Instructs patients and families on safety measures.
• Performs clerical tasks and data entry as needed.
• Manages nursing supply inventory.
• Performs ECGs and venipuncture with proper training.
