Job summary

Infor is seeking a Nurse Aide to provide direct care under the supervision of a Charge/Registered Nurse and/or Physician on the Medical Surgical Unit in Marshall, MI. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, rounds, and acting as a liaison between patients and licensed staff.

Qualifications

• One (1) year acute care experience preferred.
• Must be able to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor and possess effective interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to an assigned patient population.
• Assist with activities of daily living for a patient population.
• Complete hourly rounds.
• Communicate with patients and families; serve as liaison between patient and licensed staff.
• Assist in answering call lights promptly.
• Perform duties within the scope of a certified nursing assistant.
• Monitor and restock supplies.
• Assist with specimen collection, identification, and transport to lab.
• Assist clinically as needed.
• Relieve Unit Secretary during breaks.
• Perform CPR rotation as needed.
• Assist patients in obtaining essentials (blankets, fluids, nutrition).
