Job summary

Infor in Marshall, MI is seeking a Nurse Aide to provide direct care to an assigned patient population in the Medical Surgical Unit, under the supervision of the Charge/Registered Nurse and/or Physician.

The role requires CNA certification, BLS within 3 months of hire, and restraints certifications within 2 months and annually. You will assist with activities of daily living, rounds, and communication with patients and families in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.
• Hard cuff and Soft Limb Restraints Certification within two months and annual recertification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to an assigned patient population.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Complete hourly rounds on the patient population.
• Communicate with patients and families, liaising with licensed staff.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Perform duties within the CNA scope of practice.
• Monitor supplies and restock as needed.
• Assist in specimen collection, labeling, and transport to lab.
• Relieve Unit Secretary for breaks.
• Rotate CPR as needed.
• Help patients obtain blankets, fluids and nutrition after verification with RN.
